We want to provide an accessible 24 hour community support facility, for people to turn to in their hour of need.
We do this by delivering people-led activities and programmes that are engaging, fun and rewarding and develop self-esteem and resilience in our community. We average around 2,000 visits a year to our centre and we have a track record of delivering these interventions by harnessing the strength within our community as our volunteer network complements our delivery.
To help achieve this we have a range of key objectives…
- 80+ volunteers with increased employability
- Self sufficient user groups for each activity
- 250 - 300 people with increased confidence
- 250 - 300 people with increased health & wellbeing
- Uptake of external services as a result of support
- Have a positive economic impact on the local area
